Welcome to The Original Toy Company, where safety of children is of vital importance. At The Original Toy Company we take great care in the selection and development of our products. They have to be safe and durable and of superior quality, workmanship and appropriate to the age group for which they are intended.
All of The Original Toy Company products (whether wooden or not) comply with the requirements of EN71 – Part 3, which specifically relates to the migration of certain elements from toy materials (I.e. The Toxicity). The test method is designed to replicate the effect of ingesting the toy components and Lead is one of the 8 elements investigated: the maximum allowable (migrated) level of lead in the toy can’t exceed 90 milligrams per kg. Compliance with EN71-2 demonstrates that The Original Toy Company products do not exceed these recommended levels and are therefore considered safe.
All plastic made toys and products are produced without the use of PVC and do not contain phthalates.
